Terms of Service

By signing up for an account with this database, you agree to abide by the following rules, which are subject to change at any time.

1. You cannot post links to videos made with source from other videos because vids made in that way violate the standards of the vidding community in which the BMVD participates. The database managers can't stop you from using source stolen from your fellow vidders, but we strongly object to the practice and don't want to tacitly endorse it by helping to publicize such vids.
2. You cannot post links to videos involving real people or depictions of underage sex because those things are really, really against the law in most parts of the United States, where this site is hosted, and we'd like to keep this site open without the attention of too many lawyers, thank you. Also, along with pornography, these things violate the Terms of Service agreement with our hosting server.
3. You cannot post links to episodes or clips for download because this is also against the law in the United States, where this website is hosted; see above re: lawyers and our TOS agreement. Sites which post Buffy/Angel episodes or clips for download are at risk of getting shut down by the Fox lawyers for copyright violation, and we really would hate to have put all the work into this site, only to one day find a C&D letter in the mail from the real-life version of Wolfram & Hart.
4. You cannot post what we have started to lovingly refer to as "powerpoints". By this, we mean you cannot post music vids that are simply still images set to music. You must using moving clips in your vids. Still images do not count.
